Laser Tattoo Removal

People choose to have tattoos removed for varied reasons, ranging from a bad decision when young to a relationship breakup and career aspirations – among others. We are excited to feature a specialized tattoo removal tool known as the Q-Switched Yag or KTP Laser. This device employs dual wavelengths to get rid of more tattoo color pigments in less time than lasers that use a single wavelength. The tool essentially works by breaking tattoo pigments into particles that are tiny enough to be removed through the body’s natural filtering system.

 

The number of treatments required to achieve the desired results will depend on the extent of the patient’s problem areas.

Laser Hair Removal

We’re excited to introduce a new solution at Belle Aesthetics, making unwanted hair a thing of the past. The 810 nm diode laser is specially designed to target and eliminate hair from both small and large areas of the body.

 

During treatment, the handpiece is directed at the targeted areas to destroy hair follicles, effectively preventing future hair growth. Patients will begin to see hair thinning and shedding after just one session. For the best results, we recommend a series of 5 to 10 treatments, spaced a few weeks apart.

Laser Carbon Facial

The Carbon Laser Peel, also known as the "Bells Hollywood Glow" uses a carbon solution that acts like a sponge to absorb impurities while the heat from the laser tightens the skin by gently stimulating collagen production, leaving an amazing glow with a vibrant, youthful complexion with any downtime.

Laser Erbium Resurfacing

Who is or is not a good candidate for a laser service?​

Many individuals qualify for spectrum laser treatments. However, you may not be a good candidate for spectrum laser treatment if:

  • You are pregnant 

  • You have a significantly tan skin 

  • You have severe acne or dermatologic conditions 

  • You are taking certain acne medication 

During your visit to our office, our specialist will examine your skin type and tone and let you know whether this treatment is for you.

How long does it take to see results?​

Our laser treatments are minimally invasive and results are almost immediate. You should notice improvements following your first treatment session. Expected results may be achieved within a duration of 2 – 4 weeks or after your 4th treatment session. Results typically continue to refine within the weeks following your treatment cycle.

How is recovery after a laser treatment?

Our spectrum laser plastic surgery procedures have no down time and very few side effects. However, it is important to note that some patients may experience swelling and a certain degree of skin irritation. You’ll be asked to avoid exposure to sunlight before and following your laser treatment. You may also be asked to use sunscreen in order to protect the treatment areas and promote healing.

Laser treatment's can address a variety of skin problems including acne, rosacea, pigmentation, wrinkling, and more. Your aesthetician will be able to examine your specific problem areas and recommend the most appropriate treatment to achieve the desired outcome.

Are laser treatments painful?

Laser treatments are non-invasive and well tolerated by most patients. You may experience a snapping sensation as the thermal energy is transferred to the target area. However, as the treatment continues, your skin may just feel a little warm (not painfully hot). At most, you can expect spectrum laser treatment to be mildly uncomfortable.

What are the side effects?

Side effects of laser are usually mild and few. They may include:

  • Swelling

  • Redness

  • Peeling

  • Itching

  • Light bruising

  • Scabbing

These side effects can be managed properly using the after-care instructions provided by our office. More so, they tend to resolve quickly and are almost certainly gone after a week. Our office will be available to answer your questions after you’ve received your treatment.
